2010 VCJGA MEMBER INSTRUCTIONS:

Past or renewing and future members must begin by clicking on “New Member? Sign-up now!” link in the Player’s Club box (< to the left) located just above the thick black line on the home page.

Complete the on-line application; and pay the membership fee online (site is secure - no one will ever see your credit card number).

Go to Membership Tab > Code of Conduct & Character > Print. Read carefully, sign, date (parent/guardian and junior golfer) and return to VCJGA to be cleared for tournament play. Additionally, before playing in any tournament, it is strongly advised that you read and understand the VCJGA Tour Policy also located under the Membership Tab.

Check your e-mail. You should receive an e-mail Registration Acknowledgement from: VenturaCountyJGA@BlueGolf.com (first timers sometimes need to check spam or junk mail folder). This will include your ID/PW to enter the site in the future and to sign-up for events.

The Rules of Golf are very important. In March, we will begin a new rules of golf test in conjunction with the SCGA - Youth On Course. This will need to be completed and passed by all members. After joining the VCJGA, you will be mailed an SCGA application that will need to be completed and returned to VCJGA. Once this is processed, you will be sent an e-mail by SCGA with an ID and Password to complete the testing online. This complete process will take about three weeks. Player's can play in tournaments before taking the test, however; if we have any issues that show a player's lack of general rules of golf knowledge, they will be required to complete the test before they compete.
